ECD Technology Training
Welcome to the ECD Train the Trainer course from the University of Pretoria.
This program helps you use your mobile phone as a professional tool to make your daily work easier. You will learn how to use digital tools to save time on paperwork and plan better lessons for the children in your care.
The course has two parts: a two-day workshop and two weeks of practice at your own center.
During this time, you will learn to use apps like WhatsApp, Google Drive, and Canva. You will also learn how to use AI to help with your teaching. By the end of the course, you will have a digital Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) that proves your skills as a professional educator. This training is based on the South African National Curriculum Framework (NCF).
